De Panagia Drosiani kerk maakt deel uit van het klooster van Panagia Drosiani. Het klooster wordt beschouwd als een van de top 10 dingen om te zien en te doen in Naxos. Panagia Drosiani is opgedragen aan 'Maagd Maria van de regen', die volgens de traditie de gebeden van de lokale bevolking verhoorde die haar om hulp vroegen bij een droogte die het eiland jarenlang teisterde. Op de muren van de tempel zie je goed bewaarde schilderijen, die dateren uit de periode tussen de 7e en de 14e eeuw, en verschillende heiligen en Jezus Christus voorstellen.
