Annacotty is een buitenwijk van de stad Limerick in Ierland, op 7 km van het stadscentrum. Het is gelegen waar de oude N7 hoofdweg tussen Limerick en Dublin de rivier de Mulkear kruist, 1 km stroomopwaarts van waar deze in de rivier de Shannon stroomt.
Het dorp is oorspronkelijk ontstaan rond de graanmolen die de waterkracht van de rivier de Mulkear benutten. De Clonkeenkerk werd rond het jaar 600 na Christus opgericht als een monastieke locatie. Eén stond naast de brug zelf en is nu gerenoveerd als bar en restaurant, terwijl de tweede 1 km stroomopwaarts bij Ballyclough lag. De Annacotty Coöperatieve Vereniging werd opgericht in de jaren 1890 en tot de jaren 60 werd er boter gemaakt in de boterfabriek, alvorens deze werd overgenomen door de Black Abbey Coöperatie van Adare. De boterfabriek was omgevormd tot een coöperatieve hardware winkel, die in augustus 2009 gesloten is. Het gebouw functioneert momenteel als de Ierse winkel Mr. Price.
