Napels ; Napolitaans: Napule [ˈnɑːpələ, ˈnɑːpulə]) is de regionale hoofdstad van Campanië en de op twee na grootste stad van Italië, na Rome en Milaan, met een bevolking van 967.069 binnen de administratieve grenzen van de stad in 2017. De provincie-gemeente is de derde meest bevolkte metropolitane stad in Italië met een bevolking van 3.115.320 inwoners, en het metropolitane gebied strekt zich ongeveer 20 mijl buiten de grenzen van de stadsmuur uit.
