Met zijn 2744 m is de Colle dell'Agenllo de zesde hoogste verharde bergpas van de Alpen, na onder andere de Stelvio en de Col de l'Iseran. Ondanks het feit dat dit de hoogste internationale bergpas van de Alpen is, is de Col Agnel enigszins onbekend en niet intensief gebruikt.
