De Universiteit van Napels Federico II, tot 1987 eenvoudigweg Universiteit van Napels, is een staatsuniversiteit met meer dan 100.000 studenten in Napels .
De universiteit werd op 5 juni 1224 opgericht door de keizer van het Heilige Roomse Rijk en koning van Koninkrijk Sicilië, Frederik II van Hohenstaufen. Sinds 1987 is de universiteit naar Frederik II vernoemd en staat hij op het zegel van de universiteit afgebeeld.
