In 1430 bestond er hier al een kerk van San Nicolò. In 1558 werd de oude kerk gesloopt om de huidige te bouwen. De kerk werd sinds het midden van de vorige eeuw ontwijd en herbergt nu het URP-kantoor (Public Relations-bureau) en het toeristenbureau van de gemeente.
Dit gebouw, een mooi voorbeeld van architectuur uit de vroege renaissance, omvat de kerk en een woonhuis met twee balkons en een terras op de tweede verdieping.
