The circuit heads up to the Auronzo lodge at the foot of the Tre Cime di Lavaredo (Three Peaks). A climb to Passo Falzarego takes you to Cortina d'Ampezzo and then heads up towards Misurina Lake: this is the starting point for a particularly demanding ride up to the Auronzo lodge, known by cyclists as the Giro d'Italia summit finish.
