Het kasteel van Vorden ligt in een sprookjesachtig parkbos met beekjes. Achter het koetshuis ligt een schitterende moestuin genaamd het Hof van Hackfort. In 1400 stond hier al een huis, compleet met voorburcht en slotgracht. Het huidige kasteel is later gebouwd. In het gebouw rechts van het kasteel bevonden zich vroeger de tuinmanswoning, de oranjerie en het koetshuis. Het kasteel wordt particulier bewoond en is daarom niet toegankelijk. Het kasteel is toegankelijk voor publiek, dus kom gezellig langs. Vanaf 1 april 2018 (met Pasen) is het kasteel elk weekend open voor een bezichting.
