Aan de Minrebroederstraat was het Place Royale Hotel gevestigd waar in april 1766 de Mozarts (waaronder Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart) verbleven. Op de plek waar nu de Willibrorduskerk staat, bevond zich het Place Royal.
