Bunschoten ) is een gemeente in het noordoosten van de Nederlandse provincie Utrecht.De belangrijkste plaats van de gemeente heet Bunschoten-Spakenburg, een samensmelting van de oude stad Bunschoten met Spakenburg.De gemeente bestaat uit twee officiële woonplaatsen: Bunschoten-Spakenburg en Eemdijk. Daarnaast zijn er twee buurtschappen: Bonte Poort en Zevenhuizen, beide aan de oostkant van de gemeente. Deze behoren postaal tot Bunschoten-Spakenburg maar vooral Zevenhuizen had een eigen geschiedenis.
