In het Nederlands Openluchtmuseum komt het verleden tot leven. Bijzondere ontmoetingen, geuren, beelden en verhalen brengen onvergetelijke herinneringen naar boven. Bent u al jaren niet meer in het Openluchtmuseum geweest? Dan kent u het niet meer terug! De tijd mag er dan stilstaan, maar het museum is volop in beweging.
De komende vier jaar belicht het Openluchtmuseum het actuele thema ‘Migratie’. Vanaf 1 april ziet u hoe gewone Nederlanders huis en haard verlieten om elders een nieuw leven te beginnen. In Amerika of Canada bijvoorbeeld. Maar ook de andere kant van eigen land was een eeuw geleden een heel andere wereld.
