Het SS Rotterdam uit 1959 is het vijfde schip met die naam, in dienst van de Holland-Amerika Lijn . Het is een stoomschip met oliegestookte stoomketels en stoomturbines.Het is een van de bekendste naoorlogse Nederlandse passagiersschepen. Het maakte tussen 1959 en eind 2000 het laatste decennium mee van de trans-Atlantische lijnvaart en was daarna een succesvol cruiseschip. Sinds 4 augustus 2008 ligt het schip als drijvende attractie aan het Derde Katendrechtse Hoofd in de Maashaven in Rotterdam.
