De Zuidas is een wijk in Amsterdam. De Zuidas is vooral bekend als zakendistrict met hoogbouw. Dankzij de strategische ligging, dicht bij Schiphol en de Amsterdamse binnenstad, trekt het gebied nationale en internationale bedrijven en instellingen. Het gebied heeft ook een groot ontwikkelingspotentieel omdat er al een clustering heeft plaatsgevonden in het gebied: in een straal van 10 minuten lopen bevinden zich de Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam inclusief een faculteit "School of Business and Economics" en de RAI Amsterdam: het grootste beurs- en congrescentrum van Nederland.
