Huissen ]?; 'Húússun') of in het Huissens dialect Huusse is een stad en voormalige gemeente in de gemeente Lingewaard. De plaats heeft 19.570 inwoners , waarmee het de grootste kern van de gemeente Lingewaard is. Huissen verkreeg op zijn laatst stadsrechten in het jaar 1314. Het wapendier en symbool van Huissen is een zwaan. De zwaan is afgebeeld op het wapen en de vlag van de stad.
