Zwartebroek is een dorp in de gemeente Barneveld, in de Gelderse Vallei van de Nederlandse provincie Gelderland. Het dorp heeft 1.440 inwoners . Anderhalve kilometer ten zuiden van Zwartebroek, ligt het oudere Terschuur en drie kilometer ten westen ligt het dorp Hoevelaken. In 1840 had Zwartebroek 90 huizen met 596 inwoners. Hoewel Zwartbroek daarmee iets kleiner was dan het dorp Voorthuizen, werd het bij de Volkstelling van 1840 gezien als een buurtschap onder Voorthuizen. Door het CBS wordt Zwartebroek aangemerkt als een 'buurt' van de 'wijk' Voorthuizen. Tot 2012 viel een gedeelte van de buurtschap Appel onder Zwartebroek.
