Epse is een plaats in de gemeente Lochem in de Nederlandse provincie Gelderland. Het dorp had 2.080 inwoners op 1 januari 2021.Epse ligt in een bosrijke omgeving ten zuiden van autosnelweg A1 en ten oosten van de provinciale weg N348, dicht bij Deventer. Eind 1999 ging het noordelijk buitengebied van Epse van de toenmalige gemeente Gorssel over naar de gemeente Deventer om de aanleg van een bedrijventerrein langs de snelweg mogelijk te maken. Vanwege de economische crisis werd daar eerst in 2013 mee begonnen. Tussen dorp en bedrijven is een groene bufferstrook met 'nieuwe natuur' gerealiseerd.
