Station Den Haag Centraal is het centraal station van Den Haag. Den Haag Centraal is met twaalf sporen het grootste kopstation van Nederland. Het werd geopend in 1973 net naast het oude station Den Haag Staatsspoor. Daarvan is het de opvolger, maar het biedt verbindingen in meer richtingen dan het oude station. Ondanks de naam is het geen centraal station geweest in de zin dat het het enige belangrijke station was voor de stad. Station Den Haag Hollands Spoor biedt meer verbindingen richting Rotterdam, Dordrecht en Vlissingen. Bovendien vertrokken alleen vanaf het station HS de internationale treinen naar Brussel. Tot 1996 had Den Haag Centraal geen rechtstreekse intercity-verbinding met station Amsterdam Centraal.
