Mheer is een dorp in Nederlands Zuid-Limburg, net ten noorden van de Belgische grens. Op 1 januari 2021 telde het dorp 860 inwoners.Tot 1982 was Mheer een zelfstandige gemeente. Daarna maakte het deel uit van de toenmalige gemeente Margraten. Vanaf 1 januari 2011 is het een onderdeel van de gemeente Eijsden-Margraten.
