Eten in een oude kerk – heb je dat wel eens gedaan? Ook als je alleen komt voor een kopje koffie, vlaai of een biertje, is het de moeite waard om deze unieke locatie te bekijken. Je kunt er bovendien terecht om te lunchen, borrelen of dineren. Restaurant Brasserie Abshoven is dagelijks geopend van 10.30 tot 21.30 uur.
Achter de kerk ligt een prachtig en rustig terras. Vanaf het terras kijk je uit over het Absbroekbos en het natuurgebied Geleenbeekdal, waar prachtige wandel- en fietsroutes lopen. Je bent daarom ook binnen welkom met wandelschoenen en honden.
Voor de deur kun je gratis parkeren. Het terras ligt beschut achter het deel van de ruïne dat na de sloop van het voormalige klooster is blijven staan.
