De Thorntonbank is een zandbank in de Noordzee voor de kust van zowel België als Nederland ten westen van de monding van de Westerschelde. De zandbank torent zo'n 25 meter boven de omliggende vaargeulen uit en is ongeveer 20 km lang. Ze loopt evenwijdig met de kust en is de meest noordelijke van de Zeelandbanken.
Het bedrijf C-Power is in 2008 gestart met de eerste fase voor de bouw van een groot windmolenpark op het Belgische gedeelte van deze zandbank. De funderingen van de eerste zes windturbines, 44 meter hoog, zijn in 2008 gebouwd in de haven van Oostende. Eén van die windturbines, D6, is door Kamagurka versierd met een tekening.
