Vanaf de parkeerplaats is directe aansluiting op wandel-, fiets-, paardrij- en MTB-routes naar het Drents-Friese Wold. Ook vind je hier het Canadameer, een grote zwemplas met een zandstrandje en de SPARTELVIJVER waar honden en paarden verkoeling vinden.
