The Bronhoeve is a courtyard complex that served as a court of justice (a lower court) for the commandery of the Teutonic Order in Bernissem (Sint-Truiden) from 1496. The courtyard was then renovated in 1614 by Commander Wilhelm von Cortenbach. In 1789, the courtyard was expropriated by the French and sold publicly. Originally, this was a closed courtyard, but it is now a U-shaped complex.
