The Markelose Berg or Markelerberg is a hill just southwest of Markelo. The mountain was formed by impoundment by glacial ice in one of the ice ages. The summit is located at a height of 40.1 meters. The hill is for the most part covered with forest and on top of the top is the Provincial Resistance Monument Overijssel 1940-1945.
There is a road over the flanks of the hill, for the profile of the ascent from the village of Markelo see: https://climbfinder.com/nl/beklimmingen/markelose-berg-markelo.
