The Kraloër heath, along with the Benderse Heath and the Dwingeloosche Heath, forms a continuous heath complex in the Dutch National Park Dwingelderveld. The Kraloër heath is managed by Staatsbosbeheer. The Dwingeloosche Heath and the Benderse Heath are managed by Natuurmonumenten. The area constitutes the largest wet heathland in Western Europe. On the northern side of the area lies the Kraloër Lake.
