In 2013, the tourist television program "Vlaanderen Vakantieland" went in search of the most beautiful walk in Flanders. This walk in De Blankaart was one of the nominees. The route is the ideal mix of adventure, nature and a piece of culture. The nature reserve De Blankaart is barely 2.6 meters
above sea level and is a vast plain of low-lying, marshy meadows and hay meadows. The IJjzervlakte is dotted with water, bridges and the associated fauna and flora. Boots recommended.
