The municipality of Stein, together with the Inclusion Panel Stein, has developed three accessible walking routes suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. The routes take you along the Julianakanaal, the castle park, and the historic Castle Ruins of Stein. Along the way, you will pass, among other things, the monastery cemetery, a quiet place maintained by volunteers from the Heritage Foundation Stein. The area is characterized by flower-rich meadows, old trees, and a diverse birdlife.

The three loops differ in difficulty and type of user and are each approximately 1.8 kilometers long. It is possible to combine two routes. Two wheelchair routes are marked with blue signs and run along flat, paved paths. The mobility scooter routes (green signs) vary from fully paved to partially unpaved.

At Gasterie de Fontein, there is an accessible toilet. Note: this location is not open every day of the week, please check the opening times in advance. Parking is available, among other places, at Nederhof and Kapelbergweg.
