Brabant Ride 2020

This delightful route is pleasantly varied. You will encounter water areas, beautiful dikes, vistas, forests, and heathlands. And all of this on beautiful winding roads. What more could one want?

I have made two versions of this day trip, clockwise and counterclockwise. (This is the Clockwise Version)

If you ride a route in reverse order, it can be quite surprising and you often see different things around you.

You can start with beautiful water features, winding dikes, and then move into forested areas with nice winding steering roads. (clockwise version)

Or completely the other way around, start with nice curves, go into the forests, and end with dikes and water features. (counterclockwise version)

Whatever version you choose, it’s always different. Want to ride both versions? That’s also a nice starting point.

The route begins at the Postillion Hotel in Dordrecht, and for this route, you will use a ferry twice, Veer Kop van 't land is paid and Bernseveer (Bergse Maas) is free.

Oirschot is halfway, and the Market is a lovely place for a lunch stop. (Various dining options) Along the way, there are of course plenty of opportunities for a coffee stop.
