Helzer Klaus war ein Pilgerort und enthielt früher einen prachtvollen gotischen Altar. Davon gibt es nun eine Gipskopie. Das Original steht in der Kirche von Hachiville. Er gilt als einer der schönsten Kunstschätze in Luxemburg.
Eine Legende rankt sich um diesen Altar. Bestimmt war er für eine Kirche in Belgien. Während des Transports wurde in der Nähe der Kapelle Rast gemacht, um die Ochsen trinken zu lassen. Als es weitergehen sollte, standen diese wie angewurzelt, nichts brachte sie in Bewegung. Dies wurde als Zeichen gewertet, dass der Altar in diese Kapelle gehörte.
