Cyclists are not permitted to travel through the George Massey Tunnel. A free shuttle service is available to travel safely from one side of the tunnel to the other. Or travel through the tunnel with TransLink—all buses that travel through the tunnel have racks for two bikes.
Map of George Massey Tunnel shuttle pick-up locations
The shuttle van holds up to seven passengers (without luggage) and a driver. The trailer accommodates up to eight standard, unloaded bikes. If there are more than seven passengers, the driver will return to pick up the overflow. The trailer can also accommodate tandem bikes. One tandem bike takes the same amount of space as three standard bikes.
Northbound Shuttle
Pick-up for northbound transport through the tunnel is on the north side of Highway 17A/62B Street, east of Highway #99 fronting the Delta Town and Country Inn.
Southbound Shuttle
Pick-up for southbound transport is on the service road east of Highway 99, north of Rice Mill Road. Access the service road via No. 5 Road and Rice Mill Road.
