Coastal Path (Tour 4)

The place Bruchhausen-Vilsen has around 40 km of marked hiking trails. By combining different paths, circular routes of different lengths are created (Tour 1-Tour 7). It goes through gentle hills, fields, lush meadows, past streams, and through intact nature around Bruchhausen-Vilsen.

The diversity of nature and the attractions of the seasons make these paths discovery tours. Places to stop, sights, and special features are included in the respective tour descriptions. The routes are easy to recognize by the signage and generally lead over well-maintained paths.

Tour 4 Geestrandweg from Heiligenberg to Wöpse (5.7 km, marking: hills with firs):

Special features: Kneipp open-air facility in Heiligenberg, burial mounds, panoramic view over the glacial valley of the Weser, connection to the Nordic Walking route in Sellingsloh

The starting point is at the Kneipp holiday facility at Heiligenberg. From there, it goes uphill through the hollow path to Rutental and downhill through Rutental. We cross the district road, now hike along the Geestrand, and then through a corner of Sellinglohs to Gehlbergen. The return can be made via tours 3 Wöpser Kirchweg (marking: church) and 1 Mönchsweg (marking: monk).
