This cathedral was built in 1907 on the waterfront. Located next to an old mill, it forms a beautiful architectural ensemble with the Saar bridge and the old gate dating from the 13th century. This unconventional building does not lack charm. As you enter the church, you will be surprised by the narthex, this "vestibule" overlooking the old baptismal font on the left. The view on the choir is panoramic. Unfortunately, the beautifully carved pulpit was heavily damaged by the events of 1940. On the left, you can admire the fine carvings and biblical messages that decorate the only original confessional
From the organ loft, only a row of decorative pipes remains. A new organ, decorated with the emblematic frog of Sarralbe, occupies the right apse
The main altar is original and was designed by the architect Rüppel. Through the statues and bas-reliefs that richly adorn it, this altar alone constitutes a teaching for the faithful.
