Come and recharge your batteries with the sound of birdsong and discover the friendliness of the Ardennes in a quiet village in the heart of the countryside. It's 6 km from the expressway (Axe Belgique - Reims - aire de Woinic), greenway, shops and train station. You'll be 15 minutes from Rethel, 1/2 h from towns like Charleville and Vouziers, and 1 h from Reims, Verdun, Sedan and Bouillon. You'll enjoy our cosy 40 m2 lodge on 800 m2 of enclosed grounds planted with trees. Our rental features a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen opening onto a cosy living room. Three bedrooms are at your disposal: 1 master suite with 1 double bed (140x190 cm), TV and ensuite bathroom/WC, 1 bedroom with 1 double bed (140x190 cm) and 1 children's bedroom with 2 single beds (90x180 and 85 x 175). You'll enjoy the privacy of a private 30 m2 terrace with flowers, garden furniture and deckchairs for daydreaming in the sun. Bed linen and towels are provided. There's ample parking in front of the lodge, and a closed garage for your los or motorcycles. Nearby, you'll find horse riding, go-karting, horse-drawn carriage rides, brewery tours, hiking and cycling. You can visit museums retracing the great wars and historic monuments such as the castles of Montcornet (and its historic village) and Sedan, the Ayvelles or Charlemont forts. You can also follow in the footsteps of the famous poets Rimbaud and Verlaine, or explore the many waterways and enchanted forests of the Ardennes. Sports enthusiasts and families alike can enjoy 2 lakes, animal parks, amusement parks, accrobranches and climbing sites. And don't miss key events such as the Cabaret Vert, the Festival des marionnettes, the Nuits blanches de Charleville-Mézières, the open-air shows at La Cassine...! If you want to go a little further, just 1 hour's drive away, you'll find the city of Les Sacres with its cathedral and champagne, Belgium, the city of Verdun, a strategic site of the 1st World War, and the Aisne department with its fortified churches... Our cleaning package costs 40 euros.
