From the medieval town, join the Thouet and discover on your way the architectural testimonies of the XIXth and XXth century (Art Nouveau house, Sénéchaux castle...). Your return by the footbridge of Catalogne will allow you to join the Saint Jérôme suburb and the picturesque district of the Old Castle, seat of the temporal power of the city in the Middle Ages. The booklet "Les chemins d'Aldéarde" is available for sale at the Tourist Office of Airvault, at the Jacques Guidez museum in Airvault and at the town hall. Then follow the medallions of Aldéarde to discover the treasures of the "Petite Cité de Caractère".
