Expedition Ecodrome Zwolle was a park in Zwolle in which one could discover nature and culture. The park had several attractions such as the swamp expedition with canoes, the Jungle Expedition, Expedition Ice Age and the Expedition Time Travel. The pavilion of Expeditie Ecodrome came from the Floriade of 1992 in Zoetermeer. The pavilion was used by the Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment as the "National Environmental Pavilion Ecodrome". After that Floriade, it was made available for a symbolic amount of one guilder to a municipality that could do something useful with it. The municipality of Zwolle showed interest and placed it in Zwolle a few years later and made a park around it.
