Today you can still find the boulders (witches) everywhere in Bergeijk. And on some nights, there are still sounds from Theater de Kattendans. Who do you think is dancing there? Cycle the route, enjoy the saga and learn even more about the stories of Bergeijk in the Culture House. This cycle route over the 22-kilometre junctions leads you past the exciting story.

In the middle of the woods of Bergeijk lies the Kattenberg. The witches used to dance here, paw-to-paw. In order not to be recognized, the witches turned into black cats. So there was a lot of 'witching' there. Did you walk by alone as a man? Then the witches would lure you into the circle and force you to dance with them. Sometimes this was with fatal outcomes. Because of this, every man avoided this place. Except Dorus, the miller. Follow in his footsteps and find out why he danced paw-to-paw with the black cats.
