This varied route of 50.1 kilometres takes you past the green fields, historic villages and buzzing activity of Meierijstad and the surrounding area. At the From quay to kitchen cycle route, the temptation is great to get off regularly and explore the area. Enjoy a culinary stop at the Proeffabriek in the Noordkade and make a fairytale stop at Heeswijk Castle.

Meierijstad is perhaps the most enterprising 'food and feed' municipality in Europe. There is a strong agricultural sector with more than 700 companies. In addition, giants such as Jumbo, Sligro, AgriFirm, Friesland Campina, Udea, Mars and Hutten Catering are located in Meierijstad.
