Esta caminata te guiará por el "área de trabajo" de Soeur Mourir, una notable historia criminal de los años 70 del siglo pasado.
La hermana Godfrieda, nacida como Cecile Bombeek en 1933 en Wichelen, ingresó en 1958 como monja y fue jefa de enfermeras en la geriatría del hogar de ancianos/hospital OCMW en Wetteren. A mediados de los años 70, causó allí, a través de inyecciones de insulina, al menos tres muertes comprobadas y presumiblemente hasta unas 17 muertes, principalmente entre pacientes de edad avanzada. En enero de 1978, colegas monjas y un joven médico se presentaron a la policía con sus sospechas; fue arrestada, declarada no culpable y recluida en una institución psiquiátrica. Falleció en 2019, mientras su expediente posteriormente resonaba internacionalmente como el caso de la "Monja Asesina".
