Le Biesenberg se situe entre Humcocen/Vliek et Schietecoven, légèrement au nord de Meerssen et de Maastricht. La pente a deux variantes, depuis Humcoven ou depuis Vliek par la Putweg. En 2026, cette dernière variante sera à l'honneur. La route est peu fréquentée par les voitures et se trouve dans une zone rurale à proximité de l'aéroport d'Aix-la-Chapelle/Maastricht. La route mesure 800 mètres de long. Le pourcentage moyen de montée est de 4,5 % avec au début un tronçon raide de 300 mètres à 7,1 %.
