Teil des Marikenpfades, der historischen Route von Nijmegen nach Antwerpen. Erste Etappe: Nijmegen-Grave. Dies ist die erste von zwei Varianten dieser Etappe: die östlich gelegene touristische Wander- und Radroute entlang von Hatert und der Sint-Waldrickkapelle (Version für Radfahrer). Achtung: Diese Strecke enthält unbefestigte Wege.
Mehr westlich liegt Variante 1b: die schnelle Radroute entlang der Graafseweg.
