The church of Schepdaal is located at about 90m above sea level and almost on the hilltop of Schepdaal. The cemetery is a little higher. This means that you usually have a tough climb behind you when you reach the church. The café in front of the church with a small and cozy terrace overlooking the church is therefore a perfect and deserved stop for cyclists or walkers.
