Cafe Den Haas

Café Den Haas was founded in 1871 and is the oldest that still works in the region. On the menu are regional beers such as gueuze and kriek and if you want to eat a 'shelf' you are also at the right place.

There is a unique earthen 'bollebaan' where the centuries-old flatball game is still practiced daily. It is also the starting point of several hiking and mountain bike trails.

Tired of cycling ...? Just a snack and a drink on a sun-drenched terrace ...? Give the children an hour of play ...? This operation has a warm heart for cyclists. It is not without reason that there is a label 'bicycle-friendly' on their window or front door. This means that they make a special effort to meet the needs of the bicycle tourist. They are checked annually by Toerisme Vlaams-Brabant.
A bicycle-friendly operation has at least a spacious bicycle shed, a first aid kit, a bicycle repair kit for urgent repairs and tourist information about the region.
