The Keuneleute is a small piece of nature located on Kasteelstraat at the border of Staden-Westrozebeke. In the nearby farm, the author Willy Spillebeen spent his youth. This forest appears multiple times in his books as the background of his stories. Through a municipal nature development plan, the municipality aims to keep this forest in its 'natural' state. The steep and narrow passage through the forest is a technical piece for the experienced mountain biker. A picnic table offers the opportunity to strengthen the inner person in the great outdoors.
A little further lies the Polderbos. This is a planted forest that is traversed by both the red and green loops.
