The Saint-Hubert Chapel is a baroque-style Catholic religious building dedicated to Saint Hubert and listed as part of the historical heritage of the Flemish Region.
The chapel was originally built in wood as the chapel of the castle of Tervueren, opposite the drawbridge. According to a legend, it was built on the site of the villa where Saint Hubert died.
It was completely rebuilt in stone in the 17th century and, during the destruction of the castle, it was spared thanks to popular protest and for financial reasons. Closed to worship during the French revolutionary period, it was reopened to it by William I. In 1884, a storm severely damaged the chapel. The paintings it contained were transferred in 1895 to the Royal Museums of Fine Arts of Belgium. Complete restorations were undertaken in 1954 and 1993.
