Ways is a village in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant and a part of the municipality of Genepiën. Until January 1, 1977, it was an independent municipality. On the Ferraris map from the 1770s, the location is indicated as Wais le hutte. Wais etymologically corresponds to the French word gué, the Walloon wé, and the Dutch voorde. The village is located by the Dijle.
