Brasserie de Bouillon

In 1994 Nathalie Louis and Jacques Pougin started a grocery store in Bouillon. They also decided to offer an assortment of regional beers with their cheeses and soon about fifty beers were offered in the store. Because the interest was aroused, Pougin started experimenting with his own beer recipes and in 1996 he had his own first beer Cuvée de Bouillon brewed. Because the beer sold well, they were looking forward to installing their own brewery. In June 1998, the brewery was officially opened in the warehouse behind the store. From then on, the store only became a shop for regional beers. Not only own beers but also original beers for third parties were brewed.
