The Uylenbergher vineyard can be found on the Uilenberg in Sint-Pieters-Rode. For a number of years, André has caught the virus of winemaking and is therefore fully committed to the production of this nature-friendly quality product. All vine varieties Sirius, Regent and Johanniter (planting 2008) are disease-resistant. After the expansion of a small vineyard in the backyard, the construction of a larger vineyard on a nearby plot was started in 2004. The result is evident since André was voted best Hageland Wine of 2007 for his Regent 2007 (red wine with egg clading) Controlled Designation of Origin. In addition to a vineyard, the Goemans family has a large wood oven that allows them to treat visitors to homemade bread and pizza. Discover a small piece of Italy in the Hageland!
