La Fontaine aux Faisans in the Place du Chapitre is one of the interesting works of the artist Arthur Craco (1869-1955). This artist was an important innovator of ceramic art in Belgium. Attracted by the special quality of the white clay from Andenne, the so-called 'derle', he would be connected to the city for more than 20 years. The pheasants from which the fountain derives its name are seen atop the column. Below, at the edge of the pond, frogs are croaking.
