Het park Frankveld

The 10-hectare Frankveld park is located in the north of Beersel. It is built on a hillside that descends in the direction of the Senne valley and the center of the neighboring municipality of Drogenbos. The park is located in one large spring area. These springs feed a stream that flows to the ponds and surprisingly vast wet meadows. In some places, small dams hold back the water. There are many water-loving plants and animals in Frankveld Park. The ponds and marsh are home to large populations of frogs, toads, salamanders and waterfowl.

This park is highly recommended to visit, but cycling is not allowed. With the bike in hand, it can be a nice alternative on the routeyou route. Then you walk from the entrance at the top of the Dachelenbergweg down to the Landhuizenweg.
