I checked my route on March 16, 2025: !! Roadworks on the towpath at the lock of Merendree, but you can still pass through. There were no mud patches left on the track.

Gravel riding in the "Ghent Leie region" and "the land of Nevele" The course runs over beautiful gravel paths and singletracks!

Along the rural roads of Landegem, Hansbeke, Zomergem, Lovendegem, and Vinderhoute, you will arrive in Drongen.

Here you follow the Leie over a distance of 8 km, keep an eye out for walkers! Along the Keuze meadows with views of St. Martens-Latem.

Through the Halewijn district and the Old Kale Valley, it heads back towards Merendree and Landegem.
