From sports park Sneppenbos you cycle via the Melkkuip, past the Hot of Moretus of Boechout and the still working Stone Mill towards Frijthout. Landscape park Frijthout forms the source area of the Koude beek. The park was created with space for water and nature. Live it up in the playground or hide in the willow huts. To the north of Frijthout, cycle along Bessemstraat past the Sphinx meadow. A new bike bridge takes you over the tracks between Boechout and Mortsel to Fort 5. STEP off and discover this well-preserved fort of the Brialmont belt. Hidden among the greenery at Fort 4, you'll spy an adventure course with a real ferry raft! The bike path takes you through the open space of the Cold stream valley. You cycle along the rows of pollarded trees and along the meandering stream to Fort 3. Take a break and walk among the grazing cattle. In Vremde, protected as a village site, you will find yourself back in the 19th century. Cycling between the orchards that surround rural Vremde, you arrive back at your starting point.
